Weekend Outlook 7/19-7/20

Here we are in the heart of July, so it is no surprise that a hot weekend is expected. There will be a few subtle changes as there will be a noticeable climb in humidity by Sunday and into next week. As with any hot and humid pattern in the Tennessee Valley, an isolated shower cannot be ruled out, but the chances are small through the weekend. Consider yourself very fortunate if you have a shower occur in your neck of the woods. By next week though, we should begin to see a slighly better coverage of afternoon t-showers from Tuesday through Friday. Here is your weekend forecast:
Saturday: Sunny to partly sunny and hot during the afternoon. Expect an afternoon high in the middle 90s (around 90 mountain tops). A light breeze from the west.
Saturday Night: A fair sky through the night and a bit muggy. Overnight temperatures will only drop to near 70.
Sunday: Partly sunny, hot and more humid with an afternoon high in the lower 90s. There is a slight chance for an isolated shower popping up. We can expect a southwest wind at 5-10mph.
